FOUNDER

As a licensed builder, Julie Nicolazzo, Founder and Principal of Sorella Contracting, Inc., is no stranger to private and state residential and commercial construction projects. She was a managing partner of an LLC whose primary purpose was to buy, renovate, and manage multi-family properties, and also the owner of a state contracting construction company. With this field experience, coupled with her formal training in Information Systems from UMass Lowell, Julie became the go-to for tradespeople seeking her expertise with everything from permitting to project administration and management. Outside of work, Julie enjoys taking on home improvement projects with her husband, visiting her son’s vintage clothing store, and walking her dog, Nashey.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Jessica deMartin is a project management pro who’s spent years building strong teams, nurturing relationships, and keeping things running smoothly. As the Director of Operations at Sorella Contracting, Inc., she’s all about streamlining processes, onboarding new faces, and managing projects and data. With a master’s degree and years of hands-on experience, Jess brings valuable expertise to the table. She lives in Hudson with her husband, their girls, and an ever-growing crew of pets. Outside of work, you can find her (probably) neglecting her garden, binging The Great British Bake Off, or hunting for sea glass on the Cape.

MANAGER OF CLIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES

Lidia Kontchaeva is a numbers gal. With a professional background in banking, her move to Sorella Contracting, Inc. as the Manager of Client Financial Services was a seamless one. She develops new, efficient strategies for managing client's accounts, controls financial records and transactions, data, and processes. Lidia has lived in major cities throughout the US and Europe and is fluent in many languages, which contributes to her exceptional customer service to Sorella's diverse range of clients. When Lidia isn’t busy studying for her accounting degree, you will most likely find her playing with her 2 adopted kittens, Juno and Mars.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Bert brings to Sorella Contracting, Inc., decades of experience working on commercial and residential properties in every capacity imaginable—as a cabinet maker, as a finish carpenter, as a builder, as an on-site construction manager, as a painter, as a window and door installer, as a plasterer, as a wood floor refinisher, as a mason, as a tilesetter, and the list goes on and on. He applies his artistry, management, and safety skills to every job site Sorella Contracting, Inc., works on.  During his off hours, you will find Bert sketching in his notebook.
